memo: Michigan Bridge or CSPCU

Michigan Bridge Ministry is a Christian organization dedicated to supporting missionaries and the projects with which they are involved. Our Goal is to do what we can to help unify the body of Christ in all parts of the world. Our mission partners are both overseas and domestic.
It is our desire to be able to “bridge” the gaps of distance, language, culture,
and doctrine by supporting disciples who spread the Word of God and share
the Love of Jesus Christ with the world.

Defend the cause
of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.
Psalms 82:3 (NIV)
_______________
“The Committee for Sexual Protection of Children
in Ukraine is committed to developing a Christian program that will equip
this country with tools and resources in order that we may gain a thorough
understanding of the moral and social implications of sexuality and defend
the Ukrainian Moral Laws. The programs two fold agenda teaches abstinence,
health, and birth control, while providing information and resources for abuse
prevention, counseling, and prosecution. This goal will be achieved by working
with both Christian and secular organizations at the international, state,
regional, and local levels.”

News: Last month, we mentioned about the
many great things which are happening rather quickly for us. We have joined
efforts with other NGO's and have developed and organized a plan by which
we are now able to report and prosecute child sex offenders to local, regional,
and national authorities. This is a huge step forward and marks incredible
advancements in cooperation, communication, and awareness. We are also seeking
ways which we can finance an awareness campaign which will alert local youth
leaders, children, and social workers as to how to recognize potential traffickers
or situations where trafficking can develop.
In regard to the special meeting in Netherlands, it has been postponed so that we may be able to attend. We are hoping to go there from Nov. 12th- Nov. 18th. Our goal is to combine efforts toward combating Human Trafficking and Child Abuse between our respective NGO's. I need to stress the importance of this meeting which will allow us to draft working memorandums and will create a formal relationship which will give us international covering and support for our work here in Transcarpathia. All living expenses food and lodging, while we are at the meetings will be taken care of; we need to raise $675 for transportation between Ukraine and Holland. Please be in prayer for us that we are able to attend this extremely important event. This will greatly aid our ministry efforts here in Transcarpathia, Ukraine.
We are hoping to be in the States from Nov. 20th thru Jan. 7th and are looking for speaking engagements. If you are a Pastor, Small group leader, or someone who wants to hear a presentation about our work here in Ukraine, please contact me and schedule a time when we can come and share our vision with you. We are willing to go anywhere if you are willing to invite us. Please email us and let us know if you are interested or if you know someone who may be.

Bridge News: We are continuing to develop
our relationship with Pastor Brugosh and his congregation. My family asked
if members his church could come over with their carts and help us do some
work around the house. They were able to haul away 3 carts full of scrap
metal which they sold for cash, along with some furniture and clothing which
was donated to their church. MBM has committed to help sponsor this church
and its vision. Pastor Brugosh was recently able to acquire some land and
a building which they have begun to repair and transform into their new
church facility. There is much repair needed and a lot of work to do, but
this group in particular has a lot of energy and is wonderfully on fire
for the Lord! They hope to be able to build a children’s center along side
the existing church. We have been invited back to share another word with
them before we return to the States. Please add Pastor Brugosh and his congregation
to your prayers.

Personal News:
We are excited to announce that we are expecting
a baby!! We are starting our 10th week and are both so overwhelmed with
joy!! We have gone in for our first check up and everything is as it needs
to be at this time.
Many
of you remember your first. The excitement, the wonder, the questions. Oh!
the questions!! It is comical how friends and family will respond to our
inexperience and laugh at some of the questions which we ask. I mean how
are we supposed to know that "this is normal" or "that is
going to happen". We feel so blessed to have this incredible miracle
in our lives. Thank you Father for our family!! Please add Valeriia and
the baby's continued health to your prayers and pray away any complications.
Thanks.

We want to extend a special thanks to the

her. You know who you are, and we are very much thankful for your invaluable
